Seeking adventures to get the heart pumping

Adrenaline Escapes began as a way to promote adventure guides and activity companies that wanted to share their passion for outdoor adventure with those looking to learn a new sport or practice their sport in a new destination. Experienced in adrenaline sports, Shawna shares her knowledge of adventure sports in the Colorado Escapist, an online video series where she meets others along the way who love to share the adventure.  Her authentic personality captures the adventure spirit in all of us encouraging the inner child to break free.  Adrenaline Escapes is about finding your passion and discovering ways to make the adventure a reality.  Life is too short not to discover what makes you tick and now is the time to create that next adventure.  ​​​



After winning Startup Weekend, combining  her two passions, adventure sports and travel. Adrenaline Escapes was born.  While traveling and video blogging about destinations and adventure sports she realized that many people want to venture into the unknown, but want to make sure it is will safe.  The Adrenaline Escapes began as an adventure video series showcased on TravelandEscape.ca.   The show focused on Colorado with episodes about rock-climbing, downhill mountain biking, sand-boarding, dirt biking, whitewater kayaking, snowboarding at Woodward and dogsledding in the summer on a scooter.  

Shawna has participated as a female adventure athlete for SanDisk, Alaska Powder Descents, and Smartwool.  



In 2016, she begins a new show series called the Colorado Escapist where adrenaline badass, Shawna discovering the most amazing unknown Colorado destiantions and the best heart pumping adventures throughout the state.   In conjunction with her articles, she explores more than meets the eyes through stories only the locals know.
